🏫 The Bangkok National Museum was originally the 'Front Palace' or 'Wang Na,' built alongside the Grand Palace in 1782. 🏫 The 'Front Palace' was the residence of five viceroys until King Rama V abolished the position. The palace was then vacant, and the 'Royal Museum' was moved from the Concordia Pavilion in the Grand Palace to this location. 🏰 In 1934, King Rama VII established the entire palace complex as the 'Bangkok National Museum.'
