🏘 Wat Nak Klang Worawihan, a third-class royal temple, was built during the late Ayutthaya period. In the past, this area had three temples: Wat Nak (now Wat Phraya Tham Worawihan), Wat Klang (now Wat Nak Klang Worawihan), and Wat Noi (now the location of Taweethapisek School and residential areas). All three temples were established as royal temples during the Thonburi period. 🏡 In the reign of King Rama I in 1780, the temples were merged and renamed. Wat Nak was renamed Wat Phraya Tham, and Wat Klang and Wat Noi became Wat Nak Klang. The notable and significant features within the temple include: 🏰 The Ubosot, a brick and mortar building in Thai style, was renovated in 1961. It houses the principal Buddha image, Luang Pho Phra Phutthaprasit (Luang Pho Maha Setthi), a stucco Buddha image in the meditation posture, lacquered and gilded. 🙏 Luang Pho Khon Samo Maha Lap is enshrined in a four-gabled pavilion.
