Worship Phra Phuttha Sappanyu at Wat Nai Rong

🏡Wat Nai Rong was built around 1860 during the reign of King Rama IV by Chao Krab, the owner of a famous traditional theater, and named Wat Nai Rong. People often call it Wat Chao Krab or Wat Lakhon Chao Krab. 🏡King Rama IV bestowed the name Wat Sammachaphon, but locals often call it Wat Nok, paired with Wat Nai (Wat Bang Bamru), which is nearby, or Wat Pak Khlong because it is located at the mouth of Bang Bamru Canal. Attractions within the temple include: 🏠The ordination hall and vihara feature early Rattanakosin architectural styles. Inside the ordination hall, there are mural paintings of the Ten Jataka tales and Phra Phuttha Sappanyu, a Buddha statue from the reign of King Rama IV, as the principal Buddha image. 🏡Above the ordination hall windows, there are sculptures of royal crowns.
