The Grand Palace in Bangkok

The Grand Palace (Phra Borom Maha Ratcha Wang) is often said to be one of the Must-visit landmarks in Bangkok. Built in 1782, the Grand Palace was the former royal residence, but had since changed and is now used for ceremonial purposes. There's actually quite a lot of buildings at The Grand Palace, and overall very big and majestic. One can easily spend a few hours at the palace. Foreigners will need to pay an entrance fee of 500baht, of which the pass also allows a free pass to the Khon Performance at Sala Chalermkrung Royal Theatre (weekday only).
