ong Ang canal near Sam yot mrt bangkok

went on a Saturday evening and the stalls were not many. there were many food shops and some basking and kayaking. we were looking out for snakes in the Canal as I’ve read in google review but didn’t see any. it’s a peaceful nice place but stalls weren’t a lot probably due to rainy season. it’s been raining almost everyday since 20 sep. after that is a stations walk away to Chinatown for birds nest, sharks fins and many yummy food (check out my yaowarat Chinatown post). as it was the period where they celebrate 九皇爷 birthday, there were many food stalls with 斋 yellow flags selling vegetarian food. challenging for baby wear and young kids but after that it was a breeze to walk to wat mangkon the new mrt station to get back to hotel #urbanexplorer #foodie #bucketlistreboot
