The Giant Swing is located in front of Wat Suthat Thepwararam. In the past, it was used for the Swing ceremony. According to the beliefs of Brahmins, it is the center of the hearts of the people of Phra Nakhon and the gratitude towards the 3 gods. The Swing ceremony was abolished since the reign of King Rama VII. The Giant Swing is also considered a symbol of Bangkok. You can see that many foreigners often come to take pictures. There are many delicious restaurants around the Giant Swing.
