klenteng boen san bio

Boen San Bio Temple cannot be separated from the presence of Chinese people in Tangerang. They came in waves long before the arrival of Europeans to Banten and intermarried with the local people. They have a unique name: China Fort. According to Eddy Prabowo, a Chinese sinologist or historian from the University of Indonesia, the term Cina Benteng emerged during the East India Trade Union (VOC) or Company's conquest of Batavia in 1619. Not satisfied with Batavia, the Company seized the area around the Cisadane River which previously belonged to the Pajajaran Kingdom. The Company established a fort around the Cisadane River to protect its territory from enemy attacks. The existence of the fort made it difficult for the Chinese to move. In the end they chose to stay outside the fort. Among others in the area of Sewan and Kampung Melayu. "This is where the term China Benteng comes in," said Eddy Prabowo in Suara Update, August 18, 2005. According to Sudemi in "Traces of the Historical Heritage of Confucianism in the Chinese Society of Benteng", a thesis at the Syarif Hidayatullah State Islamic University in Jakarta in 2019, along with the arrival of the Chinese in Tangerang, the teachings of Confucianism also entered. They built a place of worship called Bio as a place of refuge and hope for the progress of their trade in order to produce blessings and profits. "In Indonesia Bio is better known as the Temple." #temple #themepark#nationalpark

Cangkir Kronjo Island Tangerang is located in Kronjo Village, about 30 km from the Tangerang Regency Government Center at Tiga Raksa. Previously Cangkir Island was a small separate island, but since 1995 this island has been connected to the mainland north coast of Java. If from TPI Kronjo, the distance to Cangkir Island is about 4 km, passing through a paved dirt road on the banks of the Pasilian River, following the bend of the river until you reach the estuary and then turning left towards the Southwest following the edge of the beach embankment of 550 meters of abrasion-resistant stones where there are two payment posts are only a few meters apart, one for entry to the site and the other for parking. Strange setting, like there are two rulers in this area. The sea water behind the embankment looks cloudy with small waves, typical of the northern coast of Java. We then turned right towards the North until we stopped 260 meters later at a road bag located in the island area. The road after the last turn is the embankment that connects the mainland with Cangkir Island. It started to rain, and puddles of water on the muddy ground made me have to choose my footing carefully. My estimate is that the circumference of Cangkir Island is only about 325 meters, outside the road that connects to the mainland which is 244 meters long. The farthest length from north to south of the island is 116 meters and the shortest is 92 meters, the farthest width is 90 meters and the shortest is 40 meters. At that time several mothers seemed to be waiting for their children to play in a place with very limited and simple facilities. What makes the scenery so interesting is that in the background of the beach you can see bamboo bridges with huts at several points that people use to fish for sea fish. There are two bamboo bridges like this, one on the long north side and one on the shorter west side. #themepark #nationalpark #island #islands #themepark#nationalpark#beaches
