It's super close to Beijing and Shijiazhuang, accessible by high-speed rail, and is the ultimate destination for weekend getaways in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region🔥 It's not a cookie-cutter influencer city, but a genuine, thousand-year-old historic city and a strategically important region. It features Qing Dynasty government buildings, the vibrant life of century-old streets, and incredibly soothing natural scenery. The pace is slow, costs are low, and it's never crowded—perfect for relaxing and unwinding! 🌼Best time to visit April–May and September–October are the best choices! In spring, the Ancient Lotus Pond is in full bloom, creating an incredible atmosphere; in autumn, the weather is dry and comfortable, perfect for exploring the ancient city and enjoying the scenery. In summer, you can head to Baishi Mountain and Yishui Lake to escape the heat; it feels super cool. Avoid Mondays! Most museums and cultural venues are closed. 📍Must-visit attractions ✅Zhili Governor's Office The best-preserved provincial government office of the Qing Dynasty. Half of the history of the Qing Dynasty's Zhili region is here.
