The Summer Palace, a royal garden of the Qing Dynasty in China, is a large landscape garden built on the basis of Kunming Lake and Wanshou Mountain, modeled after Hangzhou's West Lake, and drawing on the design techniques of gardens in the south of the Yangtze River. It is the most completely preserved royal palace garden and is known as the 'Royal Garden Museum'. During the Qingyi Garden period, there were various shops on the shore, such as jade and antique shops, silk and satin shops, pastry shops, tea houses, gold and silver jewelry stores, etc. (❤️A joint ticket is required for the visit) ✅Four Great Continents: Located in the middle of the back hill of Wanshou Mountain, it is a group of Han-Tibetan style buildings. ✅Stroll in Painting: Built along the mountain, the front has a two-story pavilion, with one pavilion on each side, named 'Love Mountain' and 'Borrow Autumn'. Walking here is like being in a painting, hence the name 'Stroll in Painting'. ✅Long Corridor: With a total length of 728 meters and 273 sections, it is the longest gallery in Chinese gardens. Each beam in the gallery is painted with colorful patterns. Every year in the twelfth lunar month, red lanterns are hung high in the Long Corridor, creating an atmosphere that feels like an instant return to the Qing Dynasty. ✅Buddhist Fragrance Pavilion: Located on the waist of the front hill of Wanshou Mountain, the building is on a 21-meter-high square base, an octagonal three-story building with four layers of eaves; from the Buddhist Fragrance Pavilion, you can overlook Kunming Lake opposite and gaze at the Seventeen-Arch Bridge. The bridge is 8 meters wide and 150 meters long, consisting of 17 arches. Around the winter solstice, the 'Golden Light Piercing Through' scene of the Seventeen-Arch Bridge is the most stunning and spectacular.
