Save 1 hour in line by testing this route when visiting the Forbidden City!

Many friends probably always queue up at the Meridian Gate from the Tiananmen side, and going through 6 security checks is really speechless! Having been to the Forbidden City 8 times, I always take these two routes, saving 1 hour! 1️⃣Route 1: Take the subway to Tiananmen West Station Exit B, walk to Zhongshan Park, buy a ticket for 3 yuan, enter Zhongshan Park, walk through the park to the east gate of Zhongshan Park, and you'll see the Meridian Gate of the Forbidden City. Queue up at the Meridian Gate, and it takes no more than 30 minutes! Save time and effort! 2️⃣Route 2: Take the subway to Tiananmen West Station Exit B, walk past Zhongshan Park, continue straight, walk to the Xihuamen Gate of the Forbidden City, walk along the city wall of the Forbidden City, turn the corner to the Meridian Gate, and queue for security check. 📷Photo tip: When you arrive and queue at the Meridian Gate, you can take pictures of the circling pigeons. The pigeons flying around the red walls are too stunning! 🚶The Forbidden City is very large and tiring to walk around, be sure to wear comfortable walking shoes! 🍽️There are restaurants and cafes in the palace to choose from, so you don't have to worry about being hungry!
