The Forbidden City, a grand heritage of the Dragon Land, is a palace in China that is over 600 years old. This palace, with its complex layout and large gardens, was once inaccessible to the general public, who could only imagine its past grandeur. The Forbidden City, also known as the Imperial Palace (Gugong), is located in the heart of Beijing, the capital of China. It was built between 1406 and 1420 during the Ming Dynasty and served as the imperial palace until the Qing Dynasty. It was opened to the public in 1925 and has since become the Palace Museum. The Forbidden City has a total of 9,999 rooms, though there is a legend about this number. In reality, the number of rooms is related to Feng Shui, with the traditional design including 9,999.5 rooms, allowing only the deity Yuanshi Tianzun to enter the 10,000th room. Additionally, the number 9,999 is considered auspicious, meaning 'eternal.' Today, the Forbidden City in Beijing is a UNESCO World Heritage site.
