#celebratewithtrip Hassan II Mosque is located in Boulevard Sidi Mohammed Ben Abdellah , Casablanca, and is around 2.5 kilometers 30 minutes walk from Casaport train station. The building dimensions are 200 meters in length and 100 meters wide, and can accommodate 105000 worshippers, 25000 inside the mosque hall, 80000 on the mosque courtyard. All of the granite, plaster, marble, wood , and other materials were extracted from around Morocco. ( only the columns and glass chandeliers ). The dome, arches and walls give a grand ambiance to the mosque, with notable architectural features including the columns, horseshoe arches, and the innumerable muqarnas embellishing the ceilings. The ablution room and a vast public hammam are in the basement with its own entrance.
