InterContinental Khao Yai Resort, an IHG

#thingstodo Highly recommend this place! We loved our stay, the rooms are beautiful and unique, the park surrounding the hotel is like from a fairy tale, the staff is very nice. Special thanks to Tang who took us on a full day trip to Khao Yai national park and showed us around, on his free day! Director of the hotel Danuphol is a very nice and caring person who went beyond to make sure we enjoy our stay at IHG. Thank you and hope to visit you again! Fabulous resort. The management and staff went out of their way to make our stay a real pleasure. The GM was always ready with recommendations for places to visit and restaurants to try nearby. The grounds are very well kept and it’s nice to stroll around the lakes in the morning and evening, and see the swans. The rooms may be a tad narrow compared to more ‘standard’ hotel rooms, but I feel that’s part of the charm of this railroad-themed resort. Definitely recommend the resort and will visit again in the new year. The best part of our stay was the amazing customer service. Each staff member we came across was professional, kind and courteous. They also provided top notch service which is the standard of any intercontinental hotel. The theming is spot on, although the room lacked a bit of counter space but it was understandable due to the theming. Overall the small details were nice to see and it was easy to pass the time looking at the different elements and areas. We especially enjoyed the bar train and tea room as they were wonderful experiences. Well done to them. A masterpiece of design in nature. Really amazing how they created this, blending it together with beautifully groomed greenery and lake areas. One of a kind resort. We visited during the week day when it was quiet and the service and hospitality were excellent. Recommended.
