Frozen meets Chinese New Year

Changchun Ice and Snow New World is one of the four core sections of Tianding Mountain Tourist Resort with natural advantages for developing ice and snow tourism. It made its debut in 2019 and was renamed 'Ice and Snow New World' in 2020. Changchun Ice and Snow New World won three WRCA world records in 2020, 'the world's longest ice slide (Passion Big Slide)', 'the world's tallest ice torch (Song of Prosperous Times Tower)', 'the largest scale ice and snow themed fitness exercise (multi-venue)'. With the theme of 'Urban Ice and Snow, Meet in Changchun', around the five sections of 'Ice and Snow Tourism', 'Ice and Snow Culture', 'Ice and Snow Sports', 'Ice and Snow Research and Study', 'Ice and Snow Trade', 10 main events and more than 140 series of events were held, covering an area of 1.56 million square meters, with a total ice and snow volume of 738,000 cubic meters, 120 groups of ice and snow buildings were built, and 670,000 square meters of ice and snow amusement space was set up, with a total of more than 30 ice and snow entertainment projects, more than 60 different forms of ice slides, more than 500 performances... All data will set a new historical record. This year, the scenic spot newly launched the '1260 meters aerial kilometer snow drifting', where you can ride a snow ring from a height of 16 meters and experience the joy of snow drifting. The event is divided into five major theme areas: Ice and Snow Silk Road, Dragon Prosperous Times, Ice and Snow Film City, God Child Treasure Hunt, and Childhood Ice Fun. Using 'digital technology + national tide IP + fashion elements' and night tour lighting design to create the atmosphere on site, creating a 'Snow Melting' giant sculpture, integrating technology, culture and art into ice and snow projects. In addition, there are more than 100 types of catering points in the park, including Northeastern snacks, Chinese and Western fast food. The scenic spot opens 18 'warm rooms' with an average temperature of 22°C, including: customer service center, Snow Palace Hotel, Crystal Castle, Hobbit Hut, etc. More than 20 catering points are planned, including snacks from all over the country, Chinese and Western fast food, Northeastern special iron pot stew, hot drinks and more than 100 other categories. Centered on the 39-meter-high 'Golden Tower Shining Prosperous Times' ice sculpture main tower, six staggered ice sculptures stand majestically around it, with a square layout at the base.
