Xinmin Street.

Changchun Xinmin Street is the first Chinese historical and cultural street in Jilin Province. It was the political center during the Manchukuo period. Xinmin Street is not only the central axis of the Manchukuo Palace, but also the central avenue of the Manchukuo capital. After its completion, it was named "Shuntian Street", later changed to "Minquan Street", and after the founding of the People's Republic of China, it was changed to Xinmin Street, which is still in use today. The vegetation on Xinmin Street is very rich, and the tree crowns on both sides of the road almost cover the entire street. It is very comfortable to walk on the street, and you will basically not be exposed to the sun. There is also a pedestrian street in the middle of Xinmin Street, where you can see the old buildings on both sides at the same time.
