Northeast Folklore Museum.

The Northeast Folklore Museum is located on the south side of Century Square, Satellite Road, Jingyue Tourism Economic Development Zone, Nanguan District, Changchun City, Jilin Province. It is a social science-themed ethnic folklore museum. The museum has several main exhibition areas, including the Ancient Ethnic Folklore Exhibition Area, the Modern Ethnic Folklore Exhibition Area, and the Changchun City Urban Development History Exhibition Area. The Ancient Ethnic Folklore Exhibition Area displays the formation, development, evolution, and customs of ethnic groups in the Northeast during different historical periods. The Modern Ethnic Folklore Exhibition Area displays the formation, development, evolution, distribution, production methods, social life, and cultural religions of various ethnic groups in the Northeast, including Han, Manchu, Mongolian, Hui, Korean, Daur, Oroqen, Ewenki, Hezhe, Xibe, Kirgiz, and Russian. Important collections in the museum include the Oroqen roe deer head hat, the Hezhe mahi fish skin jacket, and the Manchu satin brocade cheongsam.
