Located at Thai-Laos border, Kaeng Khut Khu is one of the most beautiful place to visit while in Chiangkhan. It was an hour drive from Loei city center or 15 mins drive from Chiangkhan. They recently builded “river walk” which is very nice to walk or bike along right before the sunset. There is also stairs toward “the beach” which is gorgeous and great for photos.
