Wat Duangdee, Chiang Mai

Wat Duang Dee is located on Ratchaphakinai Road in the heart of Chiang Mai, near the Three Kings Monument. It is a beautiful and ancient temple that is hundreds of years old, with beautiful architecture, especially the beautifully carved wood. Inside the temple, there is a white pagoda, the main temple of the temple, with a five-tiered golden umbrella on top, in the style of Lanna art. There is a nearly 200-year-old Ho Trai Hall, a royal chapel inside, enshrining the Phra Buddha Duang Dee as the main Buddha image, and a chapel on the side of the chapel. Wat Duang Dee was declared an ancient site by the Fine Arts Department on October 27, 1981, because it is a temple with an auspicious name for visitors to pray and worship the sacred objects.
