#songkran2024 An absolute hidden gem in Chiang mai. If you love architecture or history, this must not be missed. A huge complex of archeological buildings dating back to 100s of years. The central building behind the bodhi tree is very interesting with a barrel vaulted roof and made of limestone or similar type of rock. There was a chanting of pirith by the time I went, and it was quite nice ambience in the evening. Free to enter and see, however it is a religious place, so one must dress and behave accordingly. Enough parking available inside the premises. There are old brick walls and parts of them, which are of archeological value and be mindful not to step on or walk on those old walls. There were few notices saying that but I saw few europeans walking along the old walls, which is disrespectful.
