The café has several seating areas; you can sit by the window facing Tha Phae Gate road, sip your coffee, and watch people go by, enjoying a slow life. The atmosphere is great, with cool air conditioning, good vibes music, and coffee that isn't too strong. There are also outdoor seating areas in front and behind the café.

This is a place I highly recommend for everyone due to its affordable price. The owner, an elderly lady, is very kind. The rice porridge served here is delicious and plentiful, with unlimited refills.
Our room was on the top floor, resembling an attic room. It was super cool with a village view. Inside the room, there was air conditioning, a refrigerator, and an en-suite bathroom. We loved this room a lot.
Currently, the owner has renovated some rooms to be more modern while still retaining a natural ambiance.

The interior design of Chiang Mai's coffee shops is truly competitive! In the alleys of the Nimman Road residential area, any random shop you walk into for a break will amaze you with its strong sense of design.
Brew Fact's counter design is just too cute, resembling a wooden mushroom umbrella that opens up to become the ceiling, reminding me of the urban parasols in Seville, Spain. Paired with wooden coffee tables and chairs, it looks like a stack of building blocks, giving off a cartoonish vibe!
'Brew' means to make beer or coffee. The shop's logo is interesting—does it look like a nail polish brush? Besides offering delicious coffee, the shop also has various baked goods, freshly baked and piping hot.
The coffee shop opens early, with a bright and comfortable environment. Many people bring their laptops to work while having breakfast, and pets are also welcome, making it very friendly.

To order meat or pork for shabu, you need to fill out an order form and place it at the counter, and the staff will serve it to you.
The soup options include Mala soup, which is deliciously spicy and adjusted to suit Thai tastes, and Black Soup, which has a sweet Japanese-style flavor.
The dipping sauces are essential, with options including sukiyaki sauce, three-flavor sauce, and Japanese sauce. Beverages are self-service with soda dispensers and water, and you can scoop your own ice. For dessert, the ice cream is delicious in every flavor, highly recommended.

Chiang Mai | The Wild and Artistic Villa Mahabhirom
Choosing Villa Mahabhirom in Chiang Mai was mainly attracted by the concept of combining traditional Thai architecture with modern art at the hotel.
The hotel consists of 20 traditional Thai teak houses made of golden teak wood, purchased from different regions of Thailand, which have been restored and renovated in consultation with sculptor Chamnian Thongma. The houses are constructed using the traditional 'tongue and groove' method, which not only allows for easy disassembly and assembly, but the flexible joints also allow the house to change with the natural expansion and contraction of the wood. Due to many traditional crafts, the construction of the hotel took 7 years.
The interior soft furnishings and the artworks inside the hotel are consistent with the hotel's overall concept: traditional Thai plus modern. Here, one sees the perfect fusion of the wild and art, with rough concrete sculptures beginning to grow mottled moss in the humid climate, and bright yellow large paintings and lanterns appearing in the dark, primitive atmosphere, which are very clever finishing touches.
The public areas are decorated with artworks on the path leading to the lobby, giving the impression of being in an art gallery.

Literally could not recommend this place any higher. Apparently this shop is part of the hotel located next to it. As a result, it was a little difficult to find initially because it blends in pretty well, but it was worth the effort. They offer mostly western dishes with a fresh twist but do have a few Thai dishes as well. The staff was also extremely friendly, had great English, and they accept credit card!
If you're in Chiang Mai for at least day I would highly recommend taking the time to try it!

To access the room floors, you must tap a card before pressing the elevator. Room 335 on the third floor is very spacious, with the bathroom almost half the size of the room, separating the wet and dry zones. There is plenty of space in front of the beds. Darley Hotel is close to various tourist attractions in Chiang Mai, such as temples, museums, and the Tha Pae walking street. It's near beautiful cafes and restaurants and conveniently located for travel to the airport, bus stations, and train stations. It's also close to the Warorot Market (Kad Luang), where you can find everything from fresh goods, dry goods, souvenirs, food, daily necessities, to items for various cultural ceremonies. There are queues for transportation to Mae Kampong, Mae Rim, and Mae Taeng. The hotel offers great value for money.

The Dhara Dhevi Chiang Mai has only 21 villas, each with a private pool, lined up on both sides of the domed lobby. After finishing the floating breakfast at the villa~ the hotel arranged a tuk-tuk to take us to the nearby Chumcha Market weekend market, also known as the Rain Tree Market~ This is a relatively niche market, about a half-hour drive from the old city, but it's really beautiful~ Set in the unique tropical rainforest of Southeast Asia, it displays various cultural and creative handicrafts, worth a special trip~ But be aware! It's only open on Saturdays and Sundays!

Making merit by paying homage to the Uppakut Buddha to ask for blessings of wealth and fortune is said to be very powerful. According to legend, the Uppakut Buddha had the power to defeat the demon king, Taw Swattee, during the late 2nd Buddhist century after the Buddha's parinirvana. At that time, King Ashoka, who was deeply devoted to Buddhism, celebrated the consecration of all the stupas he had built over a period of 7 years, 7 months, and 7 days. However, he was later challenged by Mara, the evil one. King Ashoka then summoned the Uppakut Buddha to defeat Mara, who eventually conceded defeat. Since then, the Uppakut Buddha has been renowned for subduing demons.
The ritual begins with making merit and paying homage to the Buddha in the chapel, where the temple provides large red candles to light outside before entering to bow to the Buddha and place flowers inside the chapel. After that, the process of worshipping the Uppakut Buddha in the Tripitaka Hall begins with ringing the entrance bell, chanting prayers, paying respects, and then ringing the exit bell. The temple provides clear instructions for these steps.
Anyone who worships or believes in the Uppakut Buddha should not miss visiting Chiang Mai and asking for blessings at Wat Uppakut. This temple is renowned and very ancient, and its wall murals are exquisitely rare and beautiful. If you have time, stop by to visit, pay homage, and admire the beauty.

I visited the Wat Sri Suphan temple in Chiang Mai, known as the "Silver Temple" due to its unique design completely covered in silver. Founded in the 16th century, it features exquisite architecture and delicate details carved into the silver walls. During her visit, she contemplated the beauty of the statues and artworks that adorn the temple.
She also participated in a meditation ceremony and enjoyed the calm spiritual atmosphere that surrounded the place. There were also local artisans showcasing their traditional art in silverware, adding a cultural and educational dimension to the visit. It was an experience rich in beauty, spirituality, and authentic Thai culture.
Wat Phra That Doi Suthep Rajavoravihara | Chiang Mai
In Chiang Mai, there are two ways to ascend and pay homage as follows:
You can walk up the Naga stairway, which has a total of 306 steps and takes about half an hour to climb. This Naga stairway is also a popular photo spot for tourists.
Alternatively, you can take the electric tram for those who prefer convenience. The fare is 20 baht per person for Thais and 50 baht for foreigners. The service operates from 06:00 to 18:00.
The pagoda of this temple is in the Chiang Saen style, with a high base and an octagonal bell shape, topped with two tiers of golden umbrellas. It was constructed in the Lanna art style, and the Buddha's relics are enshrined underground, following the ancient tradition of burying the Buddha's relics to serve as the city pillar of Chiang Mai. It is believed that those who come to worship and pray for blessings at the Doi Suthep Pagoda will find success and fulfillment of their desires, as well as safety and the ability to overcome various obstacles.
