Namtok Than Sawan

"Namtok Than Sawan" at Doi Phu Nang National Park Namtok Than Sawan, also known as Namtok Bo Bia, is located near Ban Bo Bia, Village No. 6, Ban Mang Subdistrict, Chiang Muan District, Phayao Province. It is situated in the right side of Mae Yom Forest. This medium-sized waterfall is formed by the confluence of Huai Song Sop, Huai Pong, Huai Un, and Bo Bia Spring, which together create Huai Mae Pang and cascade down a cliff to form Namtok Than Sawan. The waterfall flows year-round and has four tiers. The first tier is the highest, approximately 8 meters, and is the most beautiful, cascading over a limestone sheet about 150 meters wide. The second tier is about 2.50 meters high, while the third and fourth tiers are approximately 2 meters high each. The surrounding area is a mixed deciduous and moist evergreen forest.
