Dying Tradition - Handmade Sak Kei Ma

Anything that has been made and poured with love taste especially good. There is only one food stall in the whole of Singapore that sells hand made Sak kei ma and it is a dying trade because no ones uses hand made method for these traditional snacks anymore. This last standing stall is found in Chinatown food complex on the second floor and the stall's name is called Pan Ji Cooked food. If you are wondering what is sak kei ma, it is a like a honeycomb biscuit made from fried dough held together by sweet syrup pressed together. Crunchy and sweet, yums! The stall also sells other traditional Chinese pastries and it is single managed by this old uncle. Please help to support local before the tradition dies. #celebratewithtrip #tripblazers
