Offbeat hiking trails await your challenge! Put down your phone on the weekend, step into nature and experience the lush greenery and fresh air of the forest. No matter which forest you go to, you can relax freely. I've always liked the less popular mountain climbing routes. This should be Gele Mountain or Huoshao Mountain. I always thought it was Jigong Mountain. Fellow hikers' route: Start from Baigongguan, climbing up the steep slopes, there are also trails, but it's quite challenging, not recommended for those who don't hike regularly. My route: Self-drive navigation to Wangyuetai in Shapingba District, Chongqing (near Fengxiang Garden Resort). There is a viewing platform with a nice view. Going further in is the entrance to the mountain, where some kind-hearted people have made homemade fitness equipment (use with caution). Going up, you can reach Huoshao Mountain, where there are some bare rocks overlooking the entire Shapingba. We didn't continue down the path because it was too steep; after enjoying the view, we headed back. Down from the viewing platform, you can collect mountain spring water. For outdoor climbing, wear slip-resistant shoes and quick-drying, breathable climbing pants. On sunny outdoor days, use a sun hat and sunscreen.
