Climb to the top of the Golden Eagle 🦅

You can do this trip as a Nanshan Botanical Gardens & Golden Eagle tour as they are located within close proximity to each other on Zhiwuyuan Road. Pro-tip- The view from the top may be breathtaking but the climb to the top is no joke 🤣- wear comfortable shoes. It's not the #greatwallofchina kind of climb but if you're not expecting it, you'll show up unprepared. It's a lovely nature walk that gives you a chance to recharge with some cool, fresh air. There's a rest stop under a gazebo for those who are not so fit like myself😄. Not many people used it though. I might be exaggerating the climb due to my own low fitness level, so don't worry too much. Once at the top, you can see the mountains and a lovely view of the town, especially on a not-so cloudy day. You can climb info the Golden Eagle itself, which has staircases leading to the top. Of course, they operators were thoughtful enough to include a small shop where you can but frankfurters and other snacks, as well as toys for the kids. It was nice day the top where we could get a close-up shot of the head. Going down, I would suggest you take the steps to the right instead of use the section to the left of you have knee problems. That section has no steps and is more like a ramp. You just keep going down with no relief. It's a thoughtful plan for those in wheelchair 🤩.
