In the name of bamboo, let us explore the beauty of intangible cultural heritage

One of the most beautiful villages in Chengdu, the site of the intangible heritage of bamboo weaving, the village has many bamboo-woven landscape installations that are particularly spectacular. Daoming Bamboo Village is the most characteristic building that you must visit, and there are also the Ji Wai Art Museum, Sanjing Academy, and farmhouse courtyards that are very suitable for weekend leisure and relaxation! The village toilets are extremely aesthetically pleasing, and even have a name called 'The Fifth Space'~ - Bamboo Art Village is located in Daoming Town, Chongzhou, Chengdu, more than 50 kilometers from the city center. The village has a simple rural style, a strong sense of life, close neighborly relations, and is a typical representative of the Tianfu forest disk. It also possesses a strong local flavor of intangible cultural heritage—bamboo weaving. After personally visiting and understanding the current situation and needs of the village, designers attempted to create an ecological, cultural, industrial, living, and public welfare integrated rural infrastructure space and cultural industry system. The green-tiled house that hovers over the rural fields is supported by a lightweight steel and wood frame, with an inwardly overlapping circular green-tiled roof. A 70% high prefabrication rate also achieved a very short construction period of 52 days for the main building, interior, and landscape. The spiraling roof naturally forms two inward courtyards, providing rich landscape layers for the interior. The relationship between inside and outside, bamboo and tiles, new and old is encapsulated under the 'invisible elephant' roof.
