Hotel Nikko Kanazawa

The hotel has the ambiance of a luxury hotel or at least an upper end business hotel. I chose the hotel for location - arriving on the late Shinknsen. It is a short walk from the station, either on the street or covered walk. Hidden gem! We booked hotel with breakfast included. We had breakfast at the 6th floor Benkei Japanese restaurant. It is absolutely the best breakfast we ever had at any hotel. The zen garden scene, delicately prepared bento box and delicious food is extremely impressive. The only suggestion for improvement is coffee. We also had drinks at the 30th floor bar. The decor is very nice, and night view is solid. Unfortunately, they ran out of two whiskey I tried to order from the whiskey promotion month. The live piano service is a good surprise (you will pay a small fee per person). Lastly, we stayed on the 17th floor. The room is spacious and clean, but the decoration is a bit out of date. Still this is a great value. #japantrip #staycation #themepark #flowerlover #awesomepic
