Dali: Mountain Views and Sea Views at Hotel Indigo Dali Erhai

Dali is located in the center of Dali Bai Autonomous Prefecture. It has a north subtropical plateau monsoon climate with no obvious seasons. Dali was the capital of the ancient Nanzhao Kingdom and Dali Kingdom. In the Han Dynasty, Dali was established as Yeyu County, which belonged to Yizhou County. The main attractions include Cangshan Mountain and Erhai Lake, a national scenic spot and nature reserve, and Dali Ancient City, a national historical and cultural city. Erhai Lake, formerly known as Kunming Pool, is a narrow lake and the second largest lake in Yunnan after Dianchi Lake. It belongs to the Lancang River Basin. On this self-driving tour to Tengchong, we passed through Langzhong, Ya'an, and Xichang. From Xichang to Dali, we passed the Jinsha River, Panzhihua, and Dukou, which is also known as the Steel City and the southernmost part of Sichuan. It is the first city in the upper reaches of the Yangtze River. The Jinsha River and Yalong River converge here. Entering Yunnan, we passed through Yongsheng County, the land of fish and rice in Yunnan. There is a lake here, Chenghai Lake, which is smaller than Erhai Lake, but it is relatively wild and has a great ecological environment. It is also a lake in the Jinsha River Basin. There is also the Nujiang Grand Canyon. The scenery is amazing. The highways, roads, culverts, and bridges in Yunnan are all very good. We arrived in Dali very smoothly and easily. We stayed at the international brand Hotel Indigo. The hotel is indeed beautiful and luxurious. The lobby is on the second floor with a wide view. The sea view from the sea view room is beautiful. Breakfast and dinner are both very good. The hotel provides Dali beer, Wind, Flower, Snow, and Moon. You must drink some. Members are also given drinks at the lobby bar.
