Tibet | The wind that misses you still reaches Namtso

🌟 Setting off from Lhasa in the early morning, heading to Namtso, this is my second time entering Tibet, and Namtso is still as beautiful and moving. Passing by the Nyenchen Tanglha Mountains viewing platform, which is also a service area, I encountered the fragrant cured meat, which became a delicious lunch. 🐂 Along the way, herds of yaks wander leisurely, 🚗 and you have to drive slowly. When the car reaches the highest point at an altitude of 5200m, the view suddenly opens up. I feel fine, with no signs of altitude sickness. 🌈 And when you get to the lakeside to enjoy the picturesque scenery, a rainbow appears in the sky, like a ribbon sprinkled by a fairy, forming a stark contrast with the tranquil surface of Namtso. It's so lucky to see a rainbow on the plateau, especially over the sacred lake! There is coffee ☕️ at the entrance of the sightseeing bus station, and indeed, a life-saving coffee is much needed here 😊. 📍Self-driving navigation: Namtso Nature Reserve It takes about 3 hours and 30 minutes from Lhasa to Namtso. It is recommended to set off early and return to Lhasa around 5-6 pm. You buy tickets at the entrance of the Tashi Peninsula scenic area, and it's a few dozen kilometers drive from the ticket gate to the sightseeing bus stop, then transfer to the scenic area's sightseeing bus to go directly to the lakeside. 🎫Ticket: ⛰️Tashi Peninsula: Peak season 120 yuan/person, off-season 60 yuan/person, Tibet is free of charge in winter.
