Take a one-day trip around Nanning to see the cross-border waterfall

🏨 Detian Cross-border Waterfall 🗓 Itinerary: Leave the city center at 7:30 in the morning, arrive at Detian Waterfall Scenic Area at 11:00, leave the scenic area at 4:30, and return to the city center at 8:00 in the evening. The round trip takes about 6-7 hours, with 5 hours of playtime. 1. Ticket + round-trip scenic area sightseeing bus (mandatory): Visitors need to take a sightseeing bus from the entrance of the scenic area to the center, which takes about 20 minutes. 2. Border river bamboo raft: The only project that allows you to get close to Detian Waterfall and is also the closest point to Vietnamese tourists where you can parallel the Vietnamese tourists' boats! The tour lasts about 5 minutes, basically you take the boat to the bottom of the waterfall to take a photo and then you have to return to the shore (if you don't take the bamboo raft, you can also take photos on the shore, which is better than on the boat, because you have to wear a life jacket on the boat!) 3. Cross-border Street/Food Street: After checking in at the 836 boundary marker, head straight to Cross-border Street, grab some food and drink, and then start climbing; 4. Magic carpet, which takes you directly to the top of the mountain, check in at the Ring of Sky and the glass walkway, overlooking the China-Vietnam border scenery, the landscape is beautiful, very pretty! (After riding the magic carpet, you still need to climb hundreds of steps to reach the top of the mountain, there is no turning back, not recommended for the elderly) 5. After walking the glass walkway, you come to the slide point, first go to the window to collect pants, gloves, and shoe covers set, put them on, and then go to queue. This is a large slide, with fast and slow lanes, but both queue at the same entrance; the elderly and children can only sit in the slow lane; (If you don't want to slide, you can also walk the footpath and slowly go down the stairs to enjoy the scenery) 6. Five viewing platforms: From the exit of the slide or along the main road of the China-Vietnam Style Street, you can see the viewing platforms; recommended are platforms 3, 4, and 5 for good photo opportunities; platforms 1 and 2 have poor views. 7. Shopping Center/Exit: Once you enter the shopping center, you reach the exit of the scenic area, if you still want to go back to the shore to take photos, don't enter the shopping center! Going down the stairs from the entrance of the shopping center will take you to the riverbank! 🍽 Dining Recommendations: There are only Vietnamese pho and some snacks in the scenic area, and there's nothing to eat once you leave the cross-border street! There are many restaurants at the exit of the scenic area, if you don't want Vietnamese pho, you can bring your own dry food or eat out. If you want to shop, don't rush, the further out you go, the cheaper it gets! 📝 Tips: If you don't want to play on the magic carpet and slide, but still want to check in at the highest point, you can take the free hiking trail; Walk directly from the cross-border street to the exit of the sightseeing avenue slide, next to it is the hiking trail, follow the stairs up, the whole journey takes about 2 hours (you can still see the Ring of Sky and the glass walkway!)
