A quiet seaside escape - Deal 🇬🇧

When I went to Deal, it was a spontaneous decision based on the following - train ticket prices, location and being a seaside town. Little did I know that I would be so charmed by such a tiny little down; or that I would wake up with views of the blue ocean first thing in the morning and fall asleep to mighty sounds of waves crashing against the shore at night. Deal is a coastal town in Kent, England, which lies where the North Sea and the English Channel meet, 8 miles north-east of Dover and 8 miles south of Ramsgate. It is a former fishing, mining and garrison town whose history is closely linked to the anchorage in the Downs. Expect blissful quietness, beautiful views and the option to venture out to Dover and the famous white cliffs, a step closer to France without leaving England. #tripblazers
