Phu Sa Dok Bua National Park

"Phu Sa Dok Bua National Park" The unique feature of Phu Sa Dok Bua is the Kumphawapi basin at the top of Phu Sa Dok Bua. This geological phenomenon has created 11 basins, each 5-6 meters wide and 1-2 meters deep, which hold water all year round. Each basin is adorned with beautiful white and light pink lotus flowers amidst the high mountains. In the same area, there is also a large cave that served as a shelter for members of the Communist Party of Thailand (CPT). At Phu Wat-Phu Pha Hin Taem, ancient prehistoric paintings estimated to be around 3,000-4,000 years old have been discovered. The rocky plains around Phu Wat are adorned with small wildflowers that bloom in various beautiful colors in the middle of the rainy season. Phu Sa Dok Bua National Park was declared a national park on December 30, 1992, making it the 75th national park in Thailand.
