The Burj Khalifa (Burj Khalifa) is at the core of a large mixed-use development project that includes offices, retail spaces, residential units, and a Giorgio Armani Hotel. The Y-shaped floor plan maximizes the views of the Arabian Gulf. 🚗 The overall design of the tower is inspired by the geometric shapes of regional desert flowers and the pattern systems embodied in Islamic architecture. The tower is constructed of reinforced concrete, wrapped in glass, and composed of sculpted volumes arranged around a central support core. As the tower rises from its flat base, it spirals upward in a tapering fashion, reducing the mass of the building as it reaches the sky. At the top, the central core emerges and forms a spire. Below the Burj Khalifa are shopping malls and parks, which are quite crowded on weekends with both locals and tourists. If you want to go up the tower, you need to queue on the first floor of the mall, and you can buy tickets online in advance, but it seems that you can only go up a little over 100 floors. 🚗 The park has an artificial lake where you can take a boat. The artificial lake has a fountain starting at 6 pm, and if you want to see the fountain, it's best to go there at dusk.
