August in the UAE! 5 days itinerary

#summerdestinations Here's our proposed itinerary for the UAE trip, which we've planned to last five days. Day 1 We arrived in Dubai at noon on Monday, checked into our hotel, took a quick break, and then headed to the Dubai Mall, which was just a 12-minute walk away. We explored the mall, tried some nice food, and watched the fountain show. 🚘: Booked a cab through Trip. 🚘: Shuttle bus from the hotel to Dubai Mall. Day 2 Abu Dhabi time! Our plan was to visit the Grand Mosque, Qasr Al Watan, and the Louvre. 🚘: We used Get Your Guide to book a chauffeur service, which I'd highly recommend. It's great because you can do whatever you want without being in a group. Day 3 We also checked out Old Dubai and all the souks. Afterward, headed to the Dubai Mall and visited Kinokuniya book store. Books are always important! ;) 🚘: There's a shuttle bus from the hotel to the Emirates Tower. Then we hopped on the red line to Burjumama and then switched to the green line to Al Ghubaiba to explore the historical area (you can also go till Al Ras if you only want to do the souks). Afterward, we took a boat to cross the river and do the Gold and Spices souks. It cost 1 AED. We took the metro back to the hotel. Day 4 We got up at 3:00 and headed out to a Snrise Safari we booked using Get Your Guide. In the afternoon we visited the Museum of the Future, Dubai Marina and experienced Xclusive Yacht. 🚘: From our hotel to Dubai Marina mall, and viceversa, we took the red line of the metro and got off at DMCC. Round trip was about 14AED. Day 5 We had a more relaxed schedule and had lunch at At.Mosphere on the 122nd floor of Burj Kalifa, which was an incredible experience. Afterward, we went to JBR beach and walked around, enjoying the beautiful scenery. 🚘: Our hotel was right across from the Dubai Mall, so we just walked to the restaurant. To get to JBR, we took the red line to DMCC and walked for about 20 minutes. Where did we have lunch? Day 1️⃣: The Bosnian House Day 2️⃣: Asma. A four-course meal and drinks. 245 AWD Day 3️⃣: Awani. A three-course meal without drinks. 142AED Day 4️⃣: Awani. Lunch set. 78AED per person Day 5️⃣: At.Mosphere TIPS: 💵 It's probably a good idea to exchange money outside the airport. We'd suggest any kiosk at Dubai Mall. 👗You can wear whatever you like in Dubai. 🚖 It's more expensive than in Shanghai. You can easily get around the city using the metro and e-scooters. 🛒 Souks aren't cheap. If you're planning on buying some Middle Eastern spices, Hyperlulu has a great selection and the prices are pretty good. Same goes for dates! 📝 Only you know what your budget is, so plan accordingly. Overall, we had a great experience in the UAE. We enjoyed ourselves immensely during our time there and look forward to traveling there again.
