Traveling to Fenghuang in Xiangxi, less than ten kilometers away from the ancient city, lies the hidden Feishui Valley

Travel is the beginning of encountering beautiful people and things, measuring my Hunan land with my footsteps. The roads I've walked, the scenery I've admired, all write an important chapter in life. I have been to Fenghuang Ancient City twice, once with classmates and children for fun, and incidentally visited Milang; another time with friends from Beijing and Chengdu, accompanied by children and the elderly. This time, I am proud to join the students from Jishou University, traveling together, coming from different places in Hunan, such as Huaihua, Shaoyang, Changsha... Feishui Valley in Xiangxi Fenghuang is only 10 kilometers away from Fenghuang Ancient City. If you visit Fenghuang Ancient City, take a trip to Feishui Valley. The tickets are affordable, especially in summer, suitable for escaping the heat. Feishui Valley has a beautiful grand canyon, a hundred-meter-high waterfall, and historical relics like the ancient rice-beating machine, as well as the Disaster Avoidance Cave and Bandit Cave across the river. Especially the waterfall known as 'the first waterfall of Xiangxi', which is a hundred meters high and more than thirty feet wide. Standing at the bottom of the cliff and looking up, the waterfall pours down like the Milky Way, making one wonder if it's the Milky Way falling from the sky, truly spectacular. Luohua Creek is like a winding ribbon, cleverly connecting the water systems of the surrounding peaks. In the warm spring, flowers on both sides bloom in competition, and petals fall into the water, forming a unique flower stream view. If you go after May Day, you can play in the water with children, but pay attention to safety first ⚠️. There is also a super long slide 🛝, which is a convenient way down the mountain, it's chargeable, but worth a try. Feishui Valley Scenic Area is also a national geological park. The valley is flanked by precipitous cliffs, lush trees, and dotted with exotic flowers and plants, offering a breathtakingly beautiful view.
