Lushi Ancient Town, one of the three most mysterious ancient towns

💫 Lushi Ancient Town is the first town on the Ancient Tea Horse Road in the western part of Yunnan and is one of the three most mysterious ancient towns in China. It is also one of the well-preserved and large-scale ancient architectural complexes in western Yunnan. Lushi Ancient Town is located in the northeastern part of Fengqing County, Lincang City, Yunnan Province, between the Lancang River and the Heihui River, and is known as 'Jiajiang'. The layout consists of three streets, seven lanes, and one square, with Sifang Street as the central point of the town's latitude and longitude lines, distributed in a circular pattern. 💫 There is almost no commercial activity in the ancient town; what you will find are small grocery stores run by the villagers, enthusiastic households that let you look around their courtyards, and villagers passing by with rapeseed on their backs who will tell you what it is... Yundaxueyuan (Yunda Academy) is closed, and I really want to go in to see if it is open to the public... 💫 Transportation: Self-driving is an option, as I saw cars driving directly into the ancient town, but we parked in a parking lot near the ancient town and walked down the path for about three to five minutes🚶 💫 There are very few tourists here, and you can occasionally see a sparse number of visitors walking in the ancient town. The service facilities are not well-developed, but that's the charm of it, relaxed and natural. You can find an old man taking a cool break under a big tree (telling you what kind of tree it is🌲), an old lady sitting at her doorstep basking in the sun☀️ napping, and cats, dogs🐶, and chickens🐥 idly staying around...
