Lingnan Tiandi

Lingnan Tiandi in Foshan is centered around the Ancestral Temple, Donghua Lane, and the historical style area, combining many cultural relic buildings and numerous outstanding historical buildings to form a historical street block with the typical Lingnan residential architectural style. Lingnan Tiandi preserves one of the most complete ancient architectural complexes in China. Famous protected cultural relics in the district include the Jian's Villa, the Wedding House, the Confucius Temple, and the ancestral shop of Li Zhongshengtang, among many other cultural relic buildings. The architecture in Lingnan Tiandi features arcades, pot-ear style gables, tile ridges, carved eaves, winding streets and alleys, and other various Lingnan architectural characteristics, reflecting the combination of tradition and modernity.
