The majestic snow-capped mountains in the distance and the nearby guesthouses reflect each other The clear and winding river flows quietly Layers of birch forests, from verdant green to golden yellow, are dyed in layers Being there is like stepping into a fairy tale world of autumn, dreamy and beautiful~ 🚗 Mileage: About 550KM, from Urumqi to Koktokay, all the way on the highway 🛣️ Itinerary: About 6H by car, we chose to depart from Urumqi on the first day, stay overnight in Koktokay Ski Town, and visit Koktokay Scenic Area the next morning 💰 Costs: Highway fee 73 yuan, ticket 90 yuan, shuttle bus 36 yuan, an additional 300 yuan is required if driving into the area 🚗 Parking: There is a parking lot at the entrance of Koktokay Scenic Area, free of charge 🏯 Accommodation: Overnight in Koktokay Ski Town, there are many hotels of various levels to choose from. ⛰️ Summary of the scenic area visit: 1️⃣ From Koktokay Ski Town to the scenic area, the free landscapes along the way are also very beautiful, pictures 6-10 are all beautiful views along the way. 2️⃣ The weather in the scenic area is changeable. It was cloudy when entering, one second it was heavy rain, the next second it turned into heavy snow, and after 10 minutes it was sunny and clear. It is best to wear waterproof jackets or bring raincoats and umbrellas. If the weather is bad, some scenic spots will not stop, and the attractions will be closed. Self-driving tours are recommended to choose good weather for travel. 3️⃣ The mine pit is just a large geological pit, requiring an additional ticket fee. If the schedule is tight and you are not interested in geology and culture, you can choose not to go 4️⃣ It takes about 20 minutes to ride the scenic vehicle to reach the hiking spot. Pictures 2-4 are the scenery near the hiking spot. This river is called the Irtysh River, and along the river, there are many attractions such as Shuimogou and Shen Zhong Mountain. Personally, I think the hiking spot right after getting off the car is the best for taking photos.
