It's very cost-effective and worth it! For accommodation in Golmud, stay at Lavande Hotel (Kunlun Park Branch on Balu Road Ground Commercial Street). This hotel is a benchmark in Golmud, very comfortable, with free parking, and surrounded by eateries. Across the street is the city center and night market. Do not, I repeat, do not stay in Delingha or Dacaidan!!! Don't be misled by the internet, Delingha and Dacaidan cannot compare to Golmud in terms of prosperity.
