Located in Dongzha Group, Pozhou Village, Duanqiao Town, Guanling County, Anshun City, Guizhou Province, Guanling Ice Mortar is an ancient glacial relic about 30 kilometers downstream of Huangguoshu Waterfall. These ice mortars were formed in the late Quaternary glacial period. When glacial meltwater carried ice debris and rock debris along the glacial crevices, it strongly impacted and ground the underlying bedrock in a dripping manner, forming a landscape similar to the ancient stone mortars used for rice pounding. The characteristics of Guanling Ice Mortar are "small mouth, big belly, flat bottom". The surface of its stone pits and stone pits is round, nearly round, elliptical and irregular in shape, and varies in size.
