Hongfu Temple

Hongfu Temple is located on Qianling Mountain in the northwest of Guiyang City, Guizhou Province, about 1.5 kilometers from the city center. Hongfu Temple was founded by Chisong Monk (1634-1706) in the 11th year of Kangxi in the Qing Dynasty (1672). The original temple has a mountain gate hall, a heavenly king hall, a Guanyin hall, a Daxiong treasure hall, and a scripture building on the central axis; on both sides are the abbot's garden, the guest house, the Ruyi house, the Zen hall, the cloud and water hall, and the precept hall, covering an area of about 12,000 square meters. The pavilions and pavilions are solemn and solemn, the Taoist field is prosperous, the Zen style is booming, and there are more than a hundred resident monks. Chisong personally ordered the "Eight Rules of the Jungle" to be set as the Ten Fang Conglin, which is the first temple in Guizhou.
