The picturesque Jiangnan is known for its 'Flower Harbor Watching Fish'

During the Southern Song Dynasty, a small stream flowed from Huajia Mountain through this area into the West Lake, and this stream was called Huaxi. At that time, an imperial attendant named Lu Yunsheng built a thatched cottage by the side of Huaxi, which he called 'Lu Garden'. The garden was tranquil and attracted an endless stream of visitors, literati composed poems about it, and it later became known as 'Flower Harbor Watching Fish'. A gentle breeze would scatter petals from the trees and flowers along the pond's edge, creating a captivating scene where 'flowers cling to the fish, and the fish kiss the flowers'. Nowadays, a variety of flowers and trees are planted here. In the sunny days of March, cherry blossoms, peach blossoms, magnolias, and crabapple flowers all bloom in competition, creating an overwhelmingly beautiful sight that draws countless tourists.
