The site of Agate Temple - Lian Heng Memorial Hall

Located on Geleng Road, which connects the 'Ge Ling' bus stop on the north side of Beishan Road and the west of the Xin Xin Hotel, there are quite a few interesting niche attractions hidden along the way. Passing by the gates of Zhiguo Zen Temple, Jingyi Villa, and Baopu Taoist Temple, you will arrive at the site of the former Agate Temple, now the location of the Lian Heng Memorial Hall. This place has the appearance of a garden, with the ruins of the Servant Spring, the patriotic stories of the modern Lian Heng family, a visual display of Taiwan's terrain, and also a coffee and tea bar. Of course, due to its location, the prices of the drinks are not cheap. The site is not particularly large, but the winding paths do not make it feel cramped. With pavilions, terraces, towers, ponds with fish shadows, and lush flowers and trees, even in the still chilly early spring, it is still the liveliest spot in the area. At the moment, the plum blossoms are still in bloom, and the tall magnolias are about to burst into flower. Looking forward to the spring day when the flowers are in full bloom on the trees.
