Today, we have come to Lingyin Temple and Faxi Temple in Hangzhou, these two ancient temples with a long history, make us feel awe and devotion. Walking on the ancient stone paths, with old trees reaching to the sky, I feel as if I have traveled through the hustle and bustle of the mundane world, straight to the pure land of the heart. In Lingyin Temple, one prays for peace in the Hall of Heavenly Kings, for career and wealth in the Mahavira Hall, for health in the Medicine Buddha Hall, and for academic success and good fortune in the Avatamsaka Hall. Faxi Temple, on the other hand, attracts numerous visitors with its tranquil and serene, pure and solemn atmosphere. Here, each bow is not only a reverence for the Buddhas but also a dialogue with the depths of one's heart. Here, I have learned to listen quietly to the falling leaves in the forest, experiencing the ethereal realm of 'originally nothing, where can the dust alight.' I deeply feel that true success and happiness come from the fulfillment and growth within oneself, not from the superficiality and offerings of the outside world. Stepping out of the ancient monastery, I have planted the seed of 'seek not from the outside' in my heart. Whether it is the trivial challenges in life or the fast pace of the bustling city, I will face them with a more serene and composed heart. The journey to Lingyin Temple and Faxi Temple is also a journey of spiritual awakening. It makes us realize more profoundly that true abundance comes from deep within, without the need to seek externally.
