Hotel Indigo Harrisburg – Hershey Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Jun)
Hotel indigo harrisburg
It's a nice place to stay. The staff are very welcoming and very accommodating. The king bed was very comfortable. The room was neat, clean and tidy. The room has blackout shades to keep the sun from shining in your face in the morning if you want to sleep in. Huge windows in the bedroom offering great views of the surrounding area. Very comfortable bed with extremely soft and luxurious sheets and comforter set!!
There are ice machines on some floors. We had a mini fridge. Also in the lobby, they have snacks and other items for purchase. They have a pool. They have a bar and restaurant. There are also quite a few places to eat within walking distance of the hotel. There's also a shopping mall very close by with Target, I would definitely recommend this hotel.
This hotel and staff makes me rethink giving other hotels 5 stars. This is the true 5 start hotel. The service is outstanding, friendly, and helpful. The rooms are amazing and the bed was very comfortable.
I will stay here again.
Location : 765 Eisenhower Blvd, Harrisburg, United States.

A Memorable Day at City Island
#baseball #pennsylvania Have you ever experienced the thrill of watching a baseball game on an island? Well, I recently had the opportunity to witness a Senators game at the charming City Island in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, and it was an unforgettable experience!
As I arrived on the island, the picturesque views of the Susquehanna River greeted me, setting the perfect backdrop for an exciting day ahead. The atmosphere was brimming with enthusiasm as families, friends, and fellow baseball enthusiasts eagerly made their way to FNB Field, the home of the Harrisburg Senators.
The game commenced, and the cheers from the passionate fans echoed throughout the stadium. There's something special about being part of a cheering crowd, united by a shared love for the sport. The energy was infectious, and it heightened with every run scored and fantastic play made on the field.
One thing that sets City Island apart from other ballparks is its intimate setting. No matter where you're seated, you have an unobstructed view of the game, allowing for an immersive experience like no other. The intimate setting also makes players feel more connected to their fans, adding a personal touch to the game.
Beyond the game itself, City Island offered a plethora of activities to enjoy during breaks. I took a leisurely stroll along the river, relishing the beautiful sights and sounds of nature. There were also plenty of food vendors serving up mouthwatering treats, from classic hotdogs to indulgent desserts. I couldn't resist trying some of the local delicacies, which further enriched my experience.
As the sun set over the horizon, the stadium lights illuminated the field, and the game intensified. The crowd's enthusiasm seemed to reach its peak, and the sense of camaraderie among the fans made the event even more special. The Senators fought hard, and witnessing their determination firsthand left a lasting impression on me.
Leaving City Island that night, I couldn't help but feel grateful for the opportunity to be part of such a vibrant and lively community. It's not just about the baseball; it's about the sense of unity and pride that comes with supporting a local team.
For anyone visiting Harrisburg, PA, catching a Senators game on City Island is an absolute must. It's an experience that blends sports, natural beauty, and community spirit into an unforgettable day. So, whether you're a seasoned baseball aficionado or just looking for a fun outing, make sure to add this unique destination to your bucket list!
