A hidden gem in saigon

I was looking for a cafe where I could work the whole day plus eat and drink. A lot of times I do end up finding good spots but either the food or the drinks suck. However, the old compass cafe fared well on both fronts. The whole place is set in a local residential block, occupying the top floor. It is hidden inside a small alley. And have to walk to the 3rd floor to locate this little gem. Language wasnt an issue. They spoke english. Good vibe. It is so nice to have the quiet and relax drink plus food amid the noisy at the street. It’s a quaint little place, like your neighbours home kitchen. Polite staff and clean place. They even serve drinks without the plastic straws, using steel instead. That's a good effort in the right direction. #vietnamtrip #hiddengems #saigon
