A lesser-known gem near Central that is often overlooked by travel guides

Hong Kong Park is not mentioned in various travel itineraries. I thought it was a small park that would be convenient for me to walk through from Bank Street back to the hotel on Kennedy Road, but the scenery turned out to be surprisingly nice. Exiting from the Admiralty MTR station, you can enter the park through the southeast gate. Walking northwest through the park, you will find the Peak Tram terminus station right across the northwest gate🚉. In the center of the park, there is an artificial lake and waterfall built from an old military barracks tennis court. Climbing up the steps along the lakeside path towards Central, you reach the Olympic Square, the Hong Kong Park Office, and the Cotton Tree Drive Marriage Registry. In the middle of the park, there is a greenhouse and bird-watching garden built on the hillside, adjacent to the Tai Chi Garden and the Bird's Eye Corner, forming the characteristic architectural complex of Hong Kong Park. Besides a children's playground, Hong Kong's largest squash center, and the Museum of Tea Ware, there is even a sports hall owned by the park! The park's most distinctive feature is the water theme: waterfalls, streams, pools, and cliffs made from artificial rocks connect the various sceneries within the park.
