This was my first trip to Hong Kong, and it was a bit different from what I expected

I took my child to Hong Kong over the weekend, mainly to meet friends. The Hong Kong I saw for the first time was somewhat different from what I had anticipated. We visited Tsim Sha Tsui, West Kowloon, Wan Chai, strolled around Victoria Harbour, Harbour City, and went up to the Peak. The streets of Hong Kong were not crowded, especially Victoria Harbour, where there were not many tourists under the night sky, and the breeze was very comfortable. It felt a bit like the Bund in Shanghai, but with far fewer people. Another impression from this trip to Hong Kong is that dining in restaurants is really expensive, with a simple dish costing over 100, and even fast food like beef rice and noodles costing around 80-90. Accommodation: After reading many posts online, we ended up staying at the Hong Kong Metropark Hotel Kowloon with our child. The environment was okay, at least the room we stayed in was relatively clean.

[Recommended Spots] Introducing recommended spots in Hong Kong! From tourist attractions to food, we cover a wide range. 1. Monster Building Known as the filming location for many movies, the 'Monster Building' is a must-see! Once you step inside, you'll be amazed by the buildings surrounding you! It was once off-limits, but the restriction has been lifted as of March 2024. 2. THE PENINSULA Hong Kong Afternoon tea at the famous Peninsula Hong Kong hotel🫖 Served in the lobby, non-guests can also enjoy it by registering on the same day. I went straight from the airport to the hotel and managed to get in, even being mistaken for a guest by the bellboy. Spending time listening to live music was elegant🌹 3. Symphony of Lights When you think of Hong Kong, you think of the Symphony of Lights…! There are various ways to enjoy it, such as from the promenade or a cruise. I watched it from the rooftop of the STARFERRY pier! 4. TRAMIC Tour A tour around Hong Kong Island on a retro tram. With an audio guide, you can relax and enjoy the tour✨ You can book it on the official website🙆♀️ The day of the tour and the following day offer unlimited tram rides, so it's recommended for those planning to sightsee by tram👀 5. Street Art At Hotel Madera Hollywood, there are wall arts of Chaplin and Marilyn Monroe. There is also Hong Kong Shingo Art painted by Shingo Katori🎨 [Other Points] There are many attractions like SKY100 and Victoria Peak! When in Hong Kong, don't miss out on dim sum.
