Wawu Mountain Hiking Guide is here!

- For a cool getaway around Chengdu, you must come to climb Wawu Mountain! It's really big here! Perfect for friends who love hiking. I've organized a hiking guide for everyone! Even if you're not hiking, you can refer to it for your trip~ - It is recommended to drive from Chengdu, which takes about 3 hours to reach the foot of Wawu Mountain. You can arrive at Yanu Lake at the foot of Wawu Mountain a day in advance and stay overnight~ The lake view is very beautiful and clear! There are many accommodations nearby. You can start early the next day! ⛰️Wawu Mountain is divided into low, middle, and high mountain areas. To fully explore all three areas, it is recommended to spend three days and two nights, one area per day. ⛰️I mainly recommend the light hiking route in the middle mountain area. ⌚️Start at 10 am. Upon arrival at the scenic area, take the Jinhua Bridge cableway to Gufoping, then transfer to the second cableway to the middle station and start the Lanxi Cliff Walk! This section is very beautiful! Passing through the Half-Mountain Gallery to the Lanxi Cliff Walk, you can see distant mountains, various wild animals and plants (if lucky, you might encounter a red panda), and even get close to waterfalls! Feel the coolness!! (It is recommended to bring a jacket, as it gets colder the higher you go.) You can hike back and take the cableway down, or you can climb to the high mountain area! In the high mountain area, you can continue hiking or take a sightseeing bus! ❣️Note⚠️The downhill cableway stops operating at 5 pm. Hiking back and forth in the middle mountain area takes about four to five hours, so plan to take the middle cableway down around 4 or 5 pm. ⛰️In the low mountain area, the Jingshuang Water Play Valley, Wawu Mountain Grand Canyon (recommended for hiking), and the Davidia Involucrata Walkway are also recommended for a full day of fun! 🏔️High mountain area: Wawu Xiantai! It is recommended to take the cableway directly to the top, play around, and then hike down to the middle mountain area, and take the middle cableway down. Because of this special trip, we couldn't play around! Next time, we won't miss it~
