Here, you don't need to get up early or stay out late; the sun rises at 7 am, and it's still daylight at nearly 10 pm. Muttering the phrase 'Those who chase the light will eventually shine brightly,' I patiently waited in the Daxigou scenic area of Huocheng, Yili, for the slanting sun to cast its brilliant glow. Not far from the Guozigou Bridge, the 'China Fushoushan Tourist Area' (commonly known as 'Daxigou') has attractions such as the Tianshan pine waves, alpine meadows, exotic flowers and plants, and ancient Sleeping Buddha temples. This place, where natural landscapes and rich, diverse cultures accompany each other, is a harmonious paradise for humans and nature, and a blessed land for health and vacation. 'Daxigou' is a natural gene bank for wild fruit plants in the world, with about 60 varieties of wild fruits growing in the area, mainly wild apples, wild cherries, wild apricots, wild hawthorns, and wild walnuts, offering charming scenery in all four seasons. The famous writer Bi Ye described such a scene in 'Tianshan Scenery Record': 'There is such a wild fruit valley, filled with wild apples for five hundred miles. In spring, the blossoming apple flowers over five hundred miles are unnoticed, and in autumn, the ripe apples are unpicked. As the old apple trees wither, more new apple trees sprout up,' which is exactly Daxigou. To say that this place is 'wild' is truly wild. Below the mountain where the landmark object—a large cauldron—stands, a fox walks regally on the big lawn, occasionally looking back. In the sky, eagles circle as if this mountain and water homeland is under their protection. The green fairyland in front of me, in the soft light of the day near dusk, looks like a series of giant oil paintings with layers of golden color. The sunlight gently outlines the contours of objects, while the shadows stretch at the feet. As the sun slants westward, light and shadow begin to dance on the canvas, bringing the painting to life. Light and shadow dance between the mountains and waters, the picturesque scenery intoxicates, as if one is in a distant dream. The heroic posture of horse-riding herdsmen in the mountains, the leisurely cows under the trees, and the little lambs dotted in the grass are all enveloped in golden light. The mottled light and shadow, like the strokes of a painter, depict the border pastoral area as a poetic scroll. Light and shadow are poetic, gently falling, nourishing the heart, all frozen in this moment. Time is like a painting, serene and beautiful, a lifetime of time, solidified at this moment.
