A Brittany coastling gem

During our tour of Brittany we took a day trip to the island of Brehat. To our delight this beautiful little island delighted us with such wonderful sights. This was summer and the weather was perfect. It took a mere 15 minutes of riding from the the mainland. And we arrived on the Port Clos. I was very excited about riding a bike too. Someone we know had recommended it. And for annisland this size I think a bike makes perfect sense. We started off with the village of Le Bourg, which is a sort of center. It has several restaurants, bars and bike rental places. The landscape of Brehat is such a mix of pink granite cliffs, light houses and lush greenery. One of the favourite things are garden. And I loves how all across brehat there were so many well kept gardens. During our ride around we visited the old vauban fort, the chapell of st Michelle. We eventually stopped at charming town of paimpol which had a very lively market.
